EVIP System Administration
Audience
This course is intended for personnel who monitor and manage EVIP systems.
Description
This three-day course provides an introduction to EVIP. The course provides detailed instruction for the use of the Workforce Administrator GUI, system Configuration Editor, log viewing and reports. Various subsystems such as Telephony, Database and Host Terminal are covered along with introductions to other Subsystems such as DLL, COM and NT.
Prerequisites

Basic Windows operating system navigation skills.
Objectives

Describe the EVIP software platform and the supporting System Administration Tools.

Use EVIP Administrator to manage one or more system nodes.

Use the EVIP Application Builder to read application steps, and the interactive debugger to debug an application.

Describe the EVIP system architecture, including how runtime resources are shared and managed, how applications are launched, and how system resources are allocated.

Move applications in and out of production.

Schedule and run reports.

Describe connectivity to front-end channels and back-end data systems.

Use the tools to support and monitor an EVIP production system.
