InterSoft Installation and Configuration
Audience
This course is intended for personnel who are responsible for the installation and configuration of the InterSoft files on an Intervoice IVR.
Description
This two-day course discusses loading the Windows operating system and performs the installation and configuration of InterSoft. The IvIViews interface, host and database interfaces, pcAnywhere Host and Application View Local software packages are also configured and tested. The culmination of the course is a hands-on practical application of loading InterSoft and configuring the IVR to support Runtime with a database connection and remote monitoring capabilities.
Prerequisites
- Basic Windows Operating System navigation skills.
- Attend the System Administration course, or be able to:
- start and stop the Ivloader Runtime processes using the GUI.
- use the Route Table Editor to load an application onto the IVR.
- edit basic intvconf.dat parameters.
- use HHTest to test IVR functionality.
- interpret InterSoft error codes.

Utilize the Intervoice batch files associated with an InterSoft load.

Describe the configuration of INTVCONF.DAT, RUN.CMD, and INTVCODE.EXE.

Configure a Host interface with the IVR.

Configure a Database interface with the IVR.

Install the pcAnywhere Host on the IVR.

Explain the loading and setup of the Application View Local reporting package.
